Anna Triandafyllidou
Anna Triandafyllidou holds the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Migration and Integration (CERC) and is the Founding Director of the Global Migration Institute at Toronto Metropolitan University. She is also the Scientific Director of Bridging Divides, an interdisciplinary, large-scale research program funded by the Canada First Research Excellence Fund that explores how rapid technological transformation is reshaping migrant integration in the 21st century. An internationally renowned sociologist and migration expert, her work focuses on questions of identity, diversity, nationalism, and multicultural citizenship; the global governance of migration and asylum, including irregular migration; and how migration and integration intersect with broader socio-economic and geopolitical transformations worldwide. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Immigrant and Refugee Studies, Chair of the IMISCOE Editorial Committee, and a member of the IMISCOE Board of Directors.
