Aviva Katzenell is the Academic Director of the Intensive English Institute at Florida Atlantic University. She has over 20 years’ experience as a teacher, teacher trainer, curriculum developer, and administrator.  She has taught EAP and ESOL in the UK, US, and Israel and is the author of Theory and Practice: Bite-sized Activities for Teaching Reading Skills published by University of Michigan Press. She is regularly approached for manuscript and article reviews on ESL Reading and Pronunciation teaching and learning and is a regular presenter at TESOL national and international conferences. She provides national and international professional development to faculty through workshops, webinars, and presentations, and strives for excellence in teaching, learning, and administration in EAP and ESOL.
