18th Joint Global Seminar on Geo-Environmental Engineering

The 18th Global Joint Seminar on Geo-Environmental Engineering (GEE) will be taking place on May 30 and 31, 2019 at Concordia.
Since its inception in 2001, the GEE has taken place annually in Japan, Korea, Canada and France. The objective of the GEE is to provide an international forum for the exchange of ideas and recent advances in the field of geo-environmental engineering and to give students and young researchers the opportunity to present their work to an international and expert audience.

• Geo-synthetics and geo-environmental engineering
• Geotechnical reuse of solid waste
• Remediation of contaminated sites (soils, mining sites, groundwater and sediments)

• Impact of energy production on geo-environment

Abstract submission

We invite presenters and authors to submit abstracts containing no more than 200 words related to the topics of the conference. Written abstracts must be in English on letter size paper — 8.5 by 11 inches — and submitted by email by January 15, 2019.
