CCRH 13 Annual Conference

Participation Format: IN PERSON

Date: January 16, 2026

Time: 9 AM - 4 PM

Location: RF Loyola Jesuit Hall and Conference Centre

Address: PY building, Concordia Loyola Campus, 7141 Sherbrooke St W, Montreal, Quebec H4B 1R6

The conference promises engaging discussions and insightful presentations. Two symposiums and two poster presentation sessions will be held to discuss the work of faculty, graduate and undergraduate students. This year we are also holding a panel dedicated to mythbusting graduate school-related misinformation on social media and introducing health-related career options in Quebec.

For our keynote section, we have the honor of hosting Dr. Brendan Andrade. Dr. Andrade is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. In his talk on 'Personalizing Psychosocial Treatment for Children with Complex Emotional and Behavioural Disorders', he will present his program of translational clinical research aimed at advancing the personalization of psychosocial treatment for this population.

By integrating science, clinical practice, and lived experience perspectives, this talk will describe Dr. Andrade’s work that moves the field closer to answering a foundational question in child mental health: Which treatments work, for whom, and under what conditions?

Lived Experience Conversation Webinar

Participation Format: ONLINE

Date: January 15, 2026

Time: 4 PM - 5 PM

The link to the webinar will become available in the 'Schedule' section of the event website 30 minutes in advance.

Please keep in mind that this event will precede the Annual Conference by one day.

The Lived Experience Conversation Webinar will start at 4 PM on Thursday, January 15. We are honored to be hosting Lillyth Quillan.

Lillyth Quillan is a researcher, science communicator, and founder of Parents of Children with Conduct Disorder (PCCD), an international peer support organization established in 2014 that now serves over 4,700 members across 50+ countries. Her work bridges neuroscience research with families navigating complex behavioral health diagnoses, grounding academic understanding in the lived experience of parents and caregivers. She has been published by The Atlantic, quoted in Scientific American, and regularly serves as a media contact for issues related to conduct disorder and neurodevelopmental conditions.

Drawing on over a decade of personal experience navigating health and care systems while raising a child with significant behavioral challenges, Lillyth brings a unique perspective on the intersection of family advocacy, systemic barriers, and clinical research. Her advocacy work focuses on the health consequences parents face, the gaps in support systems, and the power of precise language in combating stigma. She is particularly committed to centering the voices and experiences of families in research and policy conversations—understanding that meaningful change requires listening to those living these realities every day.
