The CCRH is committed to the promotion of equality, diversity, anti-racism and inclusivity. We are committed to reconciliation and acknowledge that Concordia University is located on unceded Indigenous lands. The Kanien’kehá:ka Nation is recognized as the custodians of the lands and waters on which we gather today.

We are committed to creating safe spaces for brave conversations and invite individuals to embrace discomfort and growth. We invite all participants to engage with one another encouragingly and constructively, and ask participants to interact with those whose viewpoints, interests, cultural backgrounds, or experiences may be unfamiliar to them or outside their comfort zone.

We expect that anyone participating will treat others with respect for their dignity and autonomy.

Behavior that violates these principles will not be tolerated and may include expulsion from the event. Anyone who feels threatened or harassed while participating in the event should reach out to the organizers and can expect that any concerns will be taken seriously and handled with both discretion and dispatch.

Lastly, we encourage you to join us with kindness and curiosity, share from your own experience (speak from your heart!), and have fun!
