I am currently an Advisor, Learning & Teaching at BCcampus. My career started as a high school teacher in South Africa. Over the past 20 years I have taught students of all ages and stages over four continents. A golden thread through all my teaching experiences has been breaking down barriers to learning. I have a B.Ed. in Special Education and my MA.Ed. Prior to joining BCcampus in 2020, I worked as a Career Learning and Development Advisor at Royal Roads University. As an immigrant, I valued the opportunity to support all students, and especially international students, in finding and building their career path in Canada. I am a Certified Career Strategist with Career Professionals Canada, as well as a member of the Professional Development Commitee of ACE-WIL.
