Explore the connection between art, nature and place! 🌿 🎨

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to cultivate a profound sense of love and appreciation for your surroundings through a flexible and interdisciplinary approach to art-making called “pattern-mapping.”

Whether you're an artist, teacher, scholar, or simply passionate about the environment, this workshop offers valuable insights and practical tools to develop locally-responsive, land-based, student-centred learning opportunities. Attendees will come away with a renewed understanding of the connection between art-making and cultivating a sense of place, a pattern map of their own, as well as insight into how they can integrate the process of pattern-mapping into their own work. A worksheet package will be provided.
