Mackenzie Hill is an artist and art education student in the graduate program at Concordia University with a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Arts. Before coming to Montreal to study at Concordia, She worked as a community educator and youth coordinator in her hometown in Connecticut, improving the local food system and developing workshops on social and food justice. Currently, she works teaching visual arts classes at a local community center and is a full-time student.

As we work to educate our students and the general public about art interpretation, we often find ourselves wondering: “how can I engage someone without a background in art with a piece of artwork?” Narrative Inquiry is one of the methods that we can utilize to answer this question.
