Melina Campos Ortiz is a Costa Rican Ph.D. student in Social and Cultural Analysis at Concordia University in Montreal. She obtained her MA in Media Practice for Development and Social Change at the University of Sussex in the UK. As part of her program, she did an internship at ONCA Gallery in Brighton, where she explored the intersection between art and the environment. She is interested in development and post-development, futures anthropology, and creative ethnographic practices.
