Heather Woermke is the Associate Vice-Principal of Finance and Administration at Queen’s University at Kingston, where she has held various leadership positions since 2010. Prior to joining Queen’s, she worked in the non-profit and crown corporation sectors, including roles at the Bank of Canada, the Medical Council of Canada, and NAV Canada. 

 A Chartered Professional Accountant since 1997, Heather earned her Baccalaureate in Commerce with Honours from the University of Ottawa. She is an active volunteer and mentor, currently serving as Chair of the Council of Ontario Finance Officers (COFO) and contributing to women's leadership initiatives. Heather has received the CAUBO Emerging Leader Award and the COFO Distinguished Leadership Award.
