Jordyn Tremblay

Jordyn has worked at the Paul Menton Centre for Students with Disabilities at Carleton University as Disability Coordinators and Learning Strategists for over 22 years. In 2015, she and her collegues created a Learning Strategies Program for students with disabilities to provide one-on-one learning support that addressed students functional impairments. This program has grown steadily over the past five years. It has served over 1000 students, 300 of which accessed it virtually in the Fall 2020 term alone. Prior to the switch to virtual learning, they began creating online learning strategies modules to teach the introductory and most frequently used learning strategies, specifically considering and addressing the functional impairments the students experience as a result of their disabilities.
