Amy Allhouse

Amy Allhouse started working in Learning Development at the University of Bradford in 2010. She has led on various initiatives in supporting students such as the first national scheme of Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) for Executive MBA Programmes, she has run an Academic Transition Programme for international students, and received the Vice Chancellors Outstanding Achievement Award in 2019 (UoB). Prior to HE, she worked in corporate finance in Taiwan, and led several underwriter syndicate investment projects. Amy is an ALDinHE Certified Practitioner, a Fellow of the HEA, with a Master in Business Administration. She joined the ALDinHE Events working group in 2020 to gain perspectives on different practices. Her areas of interest in LD include: transition into UK HE, critical thinking and writing, assessment literacy, and the value and impact of LD work in Executive Education.
