I'm a molecular biologist deeply interested in the connections between synthetic biology and membrane trafficking, and how they can be used to help address the pressing challenges facing humanity. Currently I am developing yeast-based opioid biosensors and a CRISPR colocalization toolkit in the labs of Dr. Vincent Martin and Dr. Malcolm Whiteway.
