Postdoc nanomédicaments
University of Montreal
Trained in France as an engineer (Ecole Centrale de Lyon), I then carried out my PhD at the CEA, where I worked on polymer-grafted gold nanoparticules for cancer treatment.
I am now a postdoc at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Montreal, in Pr Xavier Banquy's lab. The goal of my project is to improve the penetration of nanomedicines in tumors, which is currently a strong obstacle to nanoparticles' use for cancer treatment. The project is divided into 2 axes: a fondamental one, to determine the phenomena at play and the key parameters that influence them ; and a more applied one, to develop new strategies to improve this penetration, using both the inherent properties of nanoparticles and external stimuli.
