Cristiana Voiculescu

Cristiana is an attorney in good standing with the Quebec Law Society. She has over 9 years of experience in immigration law both with specialized law firms and in the academic environment. She is currently Concordia University's Immigration Specialist with the Provost Office. As such, she oversees all immigration issues related to non-Canadian academic staff and academic visitors. She therefore determines the appropriate strategy for the recruitment of non-Canadian faculty members (including scholars, scientists, artists and visiting research trainees) and advises the Office of the Provost and Vice President, Academic, all academic units, the Office of Research, Human Resources and Concordia International on provincial and federal immigration policies.  She also serves as a valuable resource to existing faculty members and their families seeking to obtain permanent residence in Canada.
