Deepak Tiwari

Dr Deepak Tiwari is a postdoctoral Fellow working in Groupe de Physique de sParticules at Université de Montréal. He is actively involved in performing simulations, analysis and installation related to PICO dark matter direct detection experiment at SNO Lab, Sudbury Canada. He completed his PhD under the Graduate Training Programme of India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO), at Harish-Chandra Research Institute, Prayagraj(Allahabad) India. His PhD was registered at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, and affiliated with Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai India. During hisPhDhe worked on studying the prospects of the Iron Calorimeter (ICAL@INO) to explore new physics- study of neutrino physics with non-standard interactions (NSI) and indirect searches for Dark matter signatures at ICAL@INO. Deepak holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Uttar Pradesh TechnicalUniversity, Lucknow, India. Besides his interest in particle physics, he is passionate about hiking, biking and other outdoor adventures, theatre,film makingand photography, baking, writing poems, and oil painting.
