Sewanou HONFO

I am Sewanou Hermann HONFO, Ph.D. in biometry at the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin and I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of Université de Sherbrooke. I am recruited in the Cohen Lab on Aging, Systems and Statistics, where I am working on  the project entitled "Diet, Physiological dysregulation, and aging: understanding longitudinal links through trajectory analysis" funded by CIHR. I am awarded also an internship grant from Mitacs, which is a Canadian Network of Centres of Excellence dedicated to the support of industrial and social innovations in Canada, as part of a MEDTEQ (Québec) grant received by partner Optina Diagnotics. My work there is to design the statistical plan for an international cohort study that Optina Diagnostics is leading. This work will provide clinical validation of their Retinal Deep Phenotyping Plateform™ for early detection of Alzheimer's disease biomarkers. 
I am interested by statistical programming in R and Python, development statistical methods, linear and non linear mixed effects models, bioinformatics, applied statistics to medicine and ecology researches.
