Ivona Bossert
Ivona Bossert is a product designer, interior architect, and design manager by training. She held a Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships for Foreign Scholars and Artists and worked for internationally renowned companies as lead designer for products, exhibitions, and interior architecture. Parallel, she developed, in particular, an affinity into a visual translation of research findings and strategies that lead her back to the academic world. In this scientific environment, she specialized in new-work spaces design as an innovative approach to foster the researcher's creativity. She takes design beyond aesthetics by consciously using it as an instrument to develop strategies based on a human-centric approach.
Since November 2019, she is the creative director in the Research Center of the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Smart, Sustainable, and Resilient Communities and Cities Prof. Eicker. She enhances the team in challenging transdisciplinary next-generation cities related activities and projects.
