The Department of Art History and the Gail and Stephen A. Jarislowsky Institute for Studies in Canadian Art is pleased to have organized a bus trip to Québec City! Join us on guided, behind-the-scenes tour of Manif d’Art, La Biennale du Québec, with curator and Scholar in Residence Didier Morelli. Accompanied by the teaching team in the Microprogram and Certificate in Curatorial Studies and Practices, the day-trip will involve several stops at venues hosting the biennale, providing a chance to critically engage with art and the exhibition-making process. Open to all students and faculty—and as always, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ students are especially welcome.
Key galleries and highlighted exhibitions of the trip (with insider tours) include:
- Espace 400, 100 Quai Saint-André, Québec, QC G1K 3Y2
- Méduse, 541 rue De Saint-Vallier Est, Côte d'Abraham et 580, Québec, QC G1K 3P9
- Plus several public artworks and partnering venues (details to be confirmed).
