CCRH 13 Annual Conference

Participation Format: IN PERSON

Date: January 16, 2026

Time: 9 AM - 4 PM

Location: RF Loyola Jesuit Hall and Conference Centre

Address: PY building, Concordia Loyola Campus, 7141 Sherbrooke St W, Montreal, Quebec H4B 1R6

This year’s conference promises engaging discussions and insightful presentations. Two symposiums and two poster presentation sessions will be held to discuss the work of faculty, graduate and undergraduate students. Dr. Brendan Andrade, a senior scientist with the Margaret and Wallace McCain Centre for Child, Youth & Family Mental Health and the Child, Youth and Emerging Adult Program (CYEAP) at CAM, will be our esteemed keynote speaker

Dr. Brendan Andrade is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on determining the factors that contribute to and maintain disruptive behaviour in childhood, and on studying clinic-based and community-based interventions for disruptive and aggressive behaviour.

He is pursuing two lines of interrelated research: 1) The social-emotional, cognitive and neuro-cognitive correlates of aggressive and disruptive behaviour in childhood; and 2) Effectiveness and predictors of short-term and long-term treatment outcomes of children with disruptive behaviour and their caregivers participating in cognitive-behavioural group treatment. This second line of research is highlighted by the CIHR-funded Personalizing Psychosocial Intervention study. This innovative project will identify clinical profiles based on key child-level psychological and neuropsychological indicators and lead to improved health outcomes by addressing the important question, “Which psychosocial treatments work for whom?”
