Zeynep Arsel is Concordia University Research Chair in Consumption and Markets at John Molson School of Business. Zeynep’s research investigates consumption, taste and the culture(s) of the market(s). Her work has been published in academic outlets such as Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Association for Consumer Research. She is the co-editor of the book Taste, Consumption and Markets: An Interdisciplinary Volume. She is also an Associate Editor at Journal of Consumer Research and Consumption Markets & Culture. 

Marie-Agnes Parmentier is Associate Professor of Marketing at HEC Montréal (Université de Montréal). Her research  focuses on branding and the intricacies and transformation of the business of fashion. Marie’s work has been published in outlets such as the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and Consumption, Markets and Culture. She serves on the editorial review boards of Consumption, Markets and Culture and Recherche et Applications Marketing. In 2017, Marie was the Administrative Sciences Association of  Canada doctoral consortium co-chair.   


Zeynep and Marie worked together as Special Session Track Chairs for CCT 2016, Lille; and loved working together.
