Lead, Accessibility Strategy
Carleton University

I believe that starting from a place of empathy and compassion honours the knowledge and experiences of all individuals. Using strategic design and other collaborative methods, I facilitate and engage in research projects, knowledge mobilization, and motivate communities along their journeys of social change.

I am particularly curious about our everyday relationship with the built environment and its impact on mental health and wellbeing. In North America, we spend close to 90% of our time in the built environment but we are still in the early days of understanding it impact on our mental health. By exploring and probing the connection between the built environment and mental health we can design spaces and services that support improved mental health outcomes.
