Dana Ayotte
Dana Ayotte is an artist, designer and design researcher, and is a Senior Inclusive Designer at the Inclusive Design Research Centre at OCAD University (Toronto, ON), where she works to help make digital technology more equitable, inclusive and accessible. Her research and experience in co-design have contributed to the creation of a guide for community-led design. Her work has also included research into platform cooperatives and inclusive data governance and the design of an interactive eco-cultural mapping tool. She holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (MIT), a BSc in Mechanical Engineering (Queen’s University) and a Studio Art Diploma (Capilano University). She is grateful to live on the unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples also known as Vancouver, BC, Canada.
